The Golden Globe Awards 2016 winners beamed brightly as they received their prestigious honors. The Beverly Hilton Hotel, home of the Golden Globes, hosts the biggest stars of Hollywood every year. A night which sees them receiving validation for their bright careers, or gaining recognition for their starmaking roles.

This year, the 2016 Golden globes, featured many beloved stars winning Golden Globes and also saw many new recipients of the Golden Globe awards cherishing newfound glory. It is amazing being surrounded by all these stars in best dressed red carpet looks, nervous with anticipation, excited with a win, or looking ahead to another year of great work.

Golden Globes 2016 host Ricky Gervais kicked off the night with a monologue. Following that, there were several dynamic duos of presenters such as Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer, Mark Wahlberg and Will farrell, Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt to name a few. 2015 was a great year for film and many fan favorite celebrities won Golden Globes this year. The beautiful Kate Winslet won Best Supporting Actress for 'Steve Jobs', veteran actor Sylvester Stallone won Best Supporting Actor for his reprisal of his iconic 'Rocky Balboa' character. Leonardo Di Caprio won 'Best Actor' for his third Golden Globe win, Jennifer Lawrence won Best Actress -Musical or Comedy while Matt Damon won Best Actor-Musical orComedy. Denzel Washington was honored with the Cecil B Demille award which is given for outstanding contribution to cinema. Leonardo Di Caprio's "The Revenant" won 3 Golden Globes out of 4 nominations and was the night's big winner.
